Ax Handle thought the Beatles sang “Don’t Bring Me Down”. He was thinking of Don’t Let Me Down by The Beatles. ”Don’t Bring Me Down” is a song by ELO.
Rosie Perez was the Rosie that starred in Fearless.
Ax Handle got his NY Mets line up all wrong. First, he said “Gene Throneberry”. He meant Marv Throneberry. Mr. Throneberry played for the NY Mets but was finished by 1963. He did not play on the “Miracle” Mets in 1969.
Munroe was a character from the sitcom Too Close For Comfort
